Please take a moment to review the guidelines before posting. Thanks and happy blogging!
- Share from the heart, but remember the TMI rule-telling everything can obscure your point.
- We will not flame each other, make derogatory comments about each other, or get personal. This is a journey: we are all traveling, and at different places on the road.
- The devil doesn’t need an advocate. You may have an opposing viewpoint, so share it; there are no bad ideas; only biblically supported or unsupported ones
- Scripture is the final arbiter of any discussion, but don’t be afraid to quote other sources, or authors you have read who may have illuminated an issue for you. Share with us.
- It is not likely that we will agree on everything, so expand, illuminate, use your intellect, submit to your spirit, we will all be better for it.
- Dont post anonymously-tell us who you are. Anonymous posts will be deleted.

Highlights from this week:
- “I pess on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining towar what is ahead, I press on towad the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. All of us who are mature should take such a view of things… Only let us live up to what we have already attained.” Philippians 3:12-16
- Potential is unexposed ability… reserved power… unapped strength… capped capabilities… unused success… dormant gifts… hidden talents… latent power… Potential is the sum of who you are that you have yet to reveal.
- “So that no advantage would be taken of us by Satan, for we are not ignorant of his schemes.” 2 Cor. 2:11
- God’s Spirit is the password to unlocking our potential – disobedience and sin, in essence, say ” I know better than you do, God, how to run my life.”
- “If you wait for perfect conditions, you will never get anything done.” Ecclesiates 11:41b
- True obedience to God is doing what He says, when He says, as long as He says.
- “Everything is permissible for me, but not everything is beneficial. Everything is permissible for me, but I will not be mastered by anything.” I Corinthians 6:12
- We must judge our success by God’s standards, not the world’s. True success is being right with God and completing His assignment and purpose for our lives. It’s knowing God and obeying Him.
- Satan will use the enemies of your potential to attempt to destroy God’s power within you but you can choose to protect yourself from his attack; to cultivate the possibilities you yet can accomplish; to use you talents, skills and abilities for the good of others. God’s power in you is stronger than all the enemies of your potential!
- Six enemies of your potential — 1) Disobedience, 2) Procrastination, 3) Distractions, 4) Success, 5) Debt, 6) Comparison
- Your ability is your responsibility
- Which one of the above-mentioned enemies stands in the way of your unrelease potential above any other? What steps can you take to keep this enemy from hindering your progress?

Highlights from this week:
- ”When I look at the night sky and see the work of your fingers-the moon and the stars you set in place-what are people that you should think about them, mere mortals that you should care for them? Yet you made them only a little lower than God and crowned them with glory and honor. You gave them charge of everything you made, putting all things under their authority.” ~Psalms 8:3-6 NLT
- “Stories are equipment for living – we go to movies because we hope to find in someone else’s story something that will help us understand our own.” – Robert Mckee, Hollywood Screenwriter -
- Museums are constant reminders that someone lived who refused to let death have the final word on their potential.
- The glory of God is humanity fully alive!
- “Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever. Amen.” Eph. 3:20
- The graveyards are full of great men and women who never became great because they did not give their ability responsibility.
- The fact that you were born is evidence that God knew the earth needed the potential you are pregnant with. Refuse to leave this earth without giving birth to those things. Rob the grave of the treasure you carry. Leave the picture of your potential on the wall of history in the museum of the Earth.
- Why might the sign “assignment unfinished – potential unreleased” appear in the museum of your life?
